Vintage Fishing Lures
Welcome to my Vintage Fishing Lures site dedicated to preserving these wonderful lures in my own little way and to hopefully share and swap some stories with some other antique fishing lure collectors. I have some favorites and some that are just plain ugly as well. I am far from an expert in the field of vintage fishing lures just really enjoy the aspect of collecting them as I am an avid fisherman plus I’m a bit of a history buff and the tales and history of these vintage fishing lures is what really catches me. That’s probably the biggest reason as to why I collect them, it’s certainly not the monetary factor as there is certainly one there, but following the history of these lures themselves is what keeps me searching for those indelible little pieces.
There are literally tons of places to find these vintage fishing lures for sale and if you keep a sharp eye you can find them in just about any nook and cranny that you travel. One place where I have been successful in finding some of these have been on eBay here lately as you never know when the downturns or liquidations of certain collections will take place. Collectors from time to time and for whatever reason will dispense of their vintage fishing lures.
As I talk about these different kind of fishing lures, I’ll try and group some of these out as well so that whoever finds this place might be looking for something similar or the same.
